Smart Home Integration & Sound Systems
What are the benefits of a smart home system in today’s world? Primarily convenience. Nowadays, a smart home is essentially your personal home assistant, seamlessly integrating with your voice assistant. This integration allows you to control your lights, sound, temperature, and security cameras effortlessly, just by using your voice or your phone from anywhere in the world.
Lutron Smart Lighting
Lutron Caseta is undoubtedly one of the most popular smart home systems on the market. Lutron is compatible with Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Sonos, and more. However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. Firstly, it's among the most expensive options for smart switches. Additionally, the entire system operates on its own radio channel, rather than Wi-Fi, which means that a smart bridge and a couple of extenders may be necessary for larger residential properties.
TP-Link
TP-Link Smart devices are affordable and directly connect to your SSID (WiFi 2.4). They seamlessly integrate with Alexa and Google Assistant, but unfortunately, they are not compatible with the Google Home app. You can control devices via the KASA app. TP-Link devices are renowned for their reliability.
Sonos Home Sound System
Sonos offers the largest assortment of shelf speakers, sound bars, subwoofers, and amplifiers, all integrated into one app—the Sonos app. Sonos is compatible with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant, making it incredibly convenient for families. However, for commercial usage, it might be considered slightly expensive with unnecessary features.
Juke Audio
Juke Audio works seamlessly with Airplay 2 and Spotify Connect, and it also offers its own app for control. Juke Audio solutions are suitable for homes as well as small and medium-sized commercial locations such as restaurants and hotels. However, Juke might not be super convenient for homes due to the lack of offered products such as smart speakers, shelf speakers, and smart home support.
Home Theater
We create custom home theaters with cutting-edge sound, breathtaking visuals, and seamless integration, making your favorite movies, sports, and games come alive. Our setups include soundproof panels and advanced materials for the ultimate immersive experience.
In-Ceiling Speakers
In-ceiling speakers provide excellent sound throughout your property without taking up valuable space. With numerous options available in the market, the most common question from our customers is, 'What should I choose?' The answer varies for each case; sometimes, we even install speakers from three different manufacturers. Typically, we use Sonance, Bose, and Klipsch for compact and heavily furnished locations, while Polk speakers are preferred for outdoor and humid environments. We can select the most suitable and cost-effective solution tailored to your specific needs.
Crestron / Control 4 / Savant
Premium smart home solutions from these manufacturers offer advanced technology. However, their highly customized systems come with a high price tag. For properties valued at less than one million dollars, this investment may not be practical. If reliability is a priority and you’re willing to invest a significant amount upfront, along with ongoing expenses for updates and maintenance, these systems could be suitable for your needs.
- Reliable
- Costly installation
Google Home / Apple Home
On the other hand, Google and Apple offer more affordable smart home solutions, which are sometimes already integrated into devices like Sonos shelf speakers or smart TVs. Even if you’re renting an apartment, you can afford smart lighting, music, and video surveillance. However, these systems lack customization and can be unreliable. For example, Sonos Move 1 is compatible with Google Voice Assistant, but Sonos Move 2 isn’t. If you’re looking for a cheap and simple solution that you can easily manage on your own and share with family members, then this option might be suitable for you.
- Affordable installation cost
- Lacking reliability
